CARINA GERVACIO · FOUNDER, PEAK BLOOM DESIGN

I design social impact initiatives for mission-driven organizations that want to build boldly without burning out their teams.

For over 20 years, I've designed programs, managed youth and adult teams, and built the relationships that keep social change work thriving. That work includes projects with Cedar Tree Foundation, Georgetown University, City Blossoms, Brainfood, and FoodCorps.

Across the sector, I've watched the same pattern play out. A big idea outruns the staffing behind it, and the people meant to lead the work don't get to see it through

The problem usually isn't the idea. It's the design process.

A good process puts the people doing the work first. It builds in culture and a sustainable pace from the start, then goes beyond spreadsheets and timelines to make room for defining values, developing leaders, and letting new ways of working take root.

I built Peak Bloom Design on the conviction that the most ambitious work and the steadiest teams can grow from the same process.

Whether you’ve got big idea that’s ready to build or you're still figuring out the next step, I'd love to hear about it.

Why Peak Bloom Design?

Peak Bloom Design was born from a belief that cultivating a creative, intentional design process is essential for big ideas to thrive.

Our name comes from the superbloom process, a natural phenomenon that begins with seeds that have been waiting, some for decades, for exactly the right conditions. When the rain arrives, the bloom that follows is so vast that it can be seen from space. Until that moment, most of the story is underground, invisible, and years in the making. What looks like sudden flourishing is really the result of intentional timing and the right resources arriving together.

That's the philosophy behind Peak Bloom Design. The ideas are already there. We design the conditions for them to thrive.
